Beechcroft acquires Wilton Park site in Beaconsfield

In 2019, Inland Homes was granted outline planning consent to develop up to 350 open market and affordable homes on the site; an estate which once belonged to the monks of Burnham Abbey and more recently to the Ministry of Defence. Part of the site has already been developed by Bewley Homes but Beechcroft plans to regenerate the remainder of the site, demolishing the existing, unsightly, tower block and creating new, open market, affordable and retirement homes for the over 55s along with community facilities.

Planning has already been granted for a new nursery building and a community centre/café. The club was due to move to formal pitches at Wilton Park which would have been leased on an annual basis but by relocating the pitches to Glory Hill, we will be able to transfer ownership of the new pitches to the club. This is a move that is supported by club members and parents of children who use the club.”
